All these systems come with a high pressure misting pump supplying a 1000 PSI of pressure to the misting nozzles. These nozzles allow for a fine mist of water droplets as small as 6 to 10 microns. At this level, flash evaporation occurs reducing the ambient temperature. The mist cloud stays longer in the air to avoid condensation and therefore would not wet the skin.
